🗓️ How do I enter and update a schedule in Vessel Report?
This article explains how to create and maintain a ship’s schedule in Vessel Report, including how to update port calls and berthing prospects.
How to add a new schedule entry
- Go to Schedule in the left-hand menu
- Click ➕ Add Schedule
- Select the type of entry:
- Port Call
- Anchorage
- Drifting
- Canal
- Range
👉 For most operations, select Port Call
How to enter a Port Call
- Enter ETA (UTC) and ETD (UTC)
- Set the UTC offset of you present location
- Add the Voyage Number
- Select the Port Activity, e.g.:
- Loading / Discharging
- Bunkering
- Awaiting Service
- Shipyard / Repairs
- Choose:
- Country
- Port
- Add Facility / Pier (if known)
- Add Agent details
- Click Save
How to manage an existing schedule
Within a schedule entry, you can:
- Update ETA / ETD
- Mark status:
- Arrived
- Departed
- Cancel
- Add:
- Events
- Agents
- Remarks
⚠️ Important: Berthing prospects must be kept up to date
- Always update ETA, ETD, and berth information as soon as new information is available
- Changes in berthing prospects (e.g. delays, terminal changes, revised arrival times) must be reflected in Vessel Report immediately
- This ensures:
- Accurate reporting
- Compliance with regulations
- Transparency across operations teams

- Use Latest First view to quickly access current port calls
- Add agents early to keep all contact details in one place
- Keep remarks updated for operational clarity
