🔧How do I edit, change password, or delete a guest user?

In this article we show you, how to manage existing guest user accounts.

You can:

  1. Edit a guest user’s settings
  2. Change a guest user’s password
  3. Delete a guest user account

1. Edit a Guest User

  1. Locate the guest user you want to edit.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. The guest user wizard (similar to the Add guest user wizard) will open.
  4. Adjust the user settings as needed.
  5. Save your changes.

2. Change a Guest User’s Password

  1. Locate the guest user whose password you want to change.
  2. Click Change password.
  3. A new window will open.
  4. Enter the new password in the New password field.
  5. Re-enter the same password in the Confirm password field.
  6. Confirm to save the new password.

Important:
When changing the password for a guest user, the new password is not sent to the user automatically. You must manually share the new password with the guest user (e.g., via a secure communication channel).

3. Delete a Guest User

  1. Locate the guest user you want to delete.
  2. Click the Delete button.
  3. A Delete user wizard will open.
  4. Carefully verify that you have selected the correct guest user account for deletion.
  5. Once you are sure that the correct account is selected, click Submit to confirm and submit the deletion request.
