🔧How do I edit, change password, or delete a guest user?
In this article we show you, how to manage existing guest user accounts.
You can:
- Edit a guest user’s settings
- Change a guest user’s password
- Delete a guest user account
1. Edit a Guest User
- Locate the guest user you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- The guest user wizard (similar to the Add guest user wizard) will open.
- Adjust the user settings as needed.
- Save your changes.
2. Change a Guest User’s Password
- Locate the guest user whose password you want to change.
- Click Change password.
- A new window will open.
- Enter the new password in the New password field.
- Re-enter the same password in the Confirm password field.
- Confirm to save the new password.
Important:
When changing the password for a guest user, the new password is not sent to the user automatically. You must manually share the new password with the guest user (e.g., via a secure communication channel).
3. Delete a Guest User
- Locate the guest user you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button.
- A Delete user wizard will open.
- Carefully verify that you have selected the correct guest user account for deletion.
- Once you are sure that the correct account is selected, click Submit to confirm and submit the deletion request.
