📅 - How can I view, manage, and use a ship’s schedule in Fleettracker?
Fleettracker provides two ways to access vessel schedules: the Ship Schedule module for detailed planning and management, and the Ship Panel in the Chart view for quick operational access. Together, they allow users to monitor port calls, manage schedules, and quickly share voyage information such as ETA, ETB, ETD, and agent details.
1. Ship Schedule (Detailed view & management)
Overview
The Ship Schedule module provides a complete overview of a vessel’s past and future port calls. It is mainly used for planning, monitoring, and managing schedules.
Filter and view schedules
To access schedule data:
- Select a ship group (optional)
- Choose a specific ship
- Click Update
Additional options:
- Show pending destinations only (default)
- Hide previous schedules (default)
These filters help you focus on upcoming voyages or include historical data.
Key functionalities
Sorting and navigation
- Sort by ETA to identify upcoming arrivals
- Click on ports, agents, or reports for more details
Linked information
- Access and edit arrival and departure reports (User/admin right necessary)
- Open port schedule by clicking on the port name
- Open detailed agent contacts
Remarks and collaboration
- Add and manage office remarks
- Share fresh fixed voyages with users and 3rd parties by using Office Schedule
Schedule management
Cancel / Uncancel schedules
- Mark port calls as canceled
- Entries are visually highlighted
- Note: Vessel updates may overwrite changes unless frozen
Freeze / Unfreeze schedules
- Freeze entries to prevent entry to be overwritten by the vessel
Create or edit schedule entries (Office use)
Office users can manually adjust schedules:
- Click Add new row
- Enter port, date/time, add agent and remarks
- Save changes
Printing schedules
- Select entries
- Open print preview
- Print or export (including agent details if needed)
2. Ship Panel Schedule (Quick access in Chart)
Overview
The Ship Panel in the Chart view provides fast access to the latest schedule data of a vessel. It is primarily used by operations teams for day-to-day communication and decision-making.
How to access
- Open the Chart
- Select a vessel on the map
- Open the ship panel on the right-hand side
- Go to the Schedule tab

Live schedule data
- View current voyage details
- See ETA / ETB / ETD instantly
- Access destination and port information
- View agent contact details
Copy schedule information (Key feature)
- Click “Copy to clipboard”
- Copies:
- ETA / ETB / ETD
- Destination
- Agent contact details
