💻🇬🇧How do I create a UK ETS EMP from an existing EU MRV Monitoring Plan?

If you already have an EU MRV (ETS) Monitoring Plan, you can use it as the basis for your UK ETS EMP instead of entering all information from scratch.

The system uses the selected EU MRV Monitoring Plan to create the EMP and copies relevant company details, monitoring procedures and vessel-specific information.

To create an EMP from an existing plan:

  1. When creating a new UK ETS EMP, select Import from an existing EU MRV (ETS) Monitoring Plan.
  2. Select the relevant source vessel from the dropdown menu.
  3. The system creates the EMP and imports the available information from the selected plan.
  4. Review all imported information to make sure it is correct and up to date.
  5. Complete any additional UK ETS-specific information required for the EMP.
  6. Add the remaining vessels in your fleet that belong to the responsible shipping company.
  7. Complete any remaining required fields.

💡Imported information should always be reviewed before transferring the EMP to METS.
