🔄 Our ship changes owner but remains under our technical management. What do we need to consider?

A change of registered owner does not necessarily mean that the company responsible for regulatory compliance has changed.

The key question is whether the responsible ISM company and the entity responsible for MRV, ETS and FuelEU compliance remain unchanged.

If your company retains these responsibilities, the existing monitoring and reporting arrangements may remain applicable. However, the ship's company details, Monitoring Plans and supporting documentation should be reviewed.

If the responsible company changes, additional regulatory actions may be required.

Audit confirmation required: We need a verified procedure distinguishing a change of registered owner from a change of responsible company under EU MRV, EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime and IMO DCS.
